Great software. Everything we need to calculate a beam, with a beautiful interface. I am awaiting a slab software from the author.

Since the start of my engineering degree till the very end this developer didnt stop to improve his app. I wrote him several emails and he answered them all implementing all those beautiful improvements. I just wanna say thanks for such a passionate job. I wish I could give you 6 stars. Thank you very much Mr. Anan Ratana.
Easy to use and flexible. There is no limit to the configuration of the beam layout and load layout. The results are very well displayed for any position on the beam. The output report can be sent in PDF format by email. The best from the few apps of the same kind I have.
Can adjust the E of beam, love that theres actually SI units, including Newtons! One thing the creators could add is rollers.
I am in love with this program. Easy inputs, fantastic output. The pdf report is very well done. For 2d analysis including statically indeterminate beams this works better than Robot Analysis. Very impressed. Should be 50$ in my opinion.
Faster than using a stuctural analysis software on my computer. The pdf output is useful.
Very hard to use!!
Wow, amazing. Great interface, easy to use, can convert to pdf. Worth it if youre in the engineering field.
Thanks for this. Its an accurate, easy to use program with lots of useful features. Great for checking your work. I realize its a lot more involved but Id love to see a similar program for solving frames.
Fast and easy to use. Few professional software solutions come close to matching this. Recently added Gerber and settlement make it even better. Also works with different stiffness within spans. This is truly a great quality app that is regularly updated. Must buy if youre a structural engineer or student.
Does everything I need for structural beam calculations. The report generation is concise and useful. Great app! Recommend to all structural engineers.
I love this app! Is there a way to move the reactions? Say you have a 10m beam and you wanted R1 0m (from left) and R2 8m(from left) with 2m hanging
Terrible app I cant believe I bought it. Buyer beware
Great application! Beautiful work! Can you integrate the application with any structure, as frame, column? Thanks!
Using this tool as a student now as an engineer. Much better UI and works great. Hope that dont pass to long for another update!!
Overall the new UI is excellent and ability to backup to iCloud is great! However, all my beam calculations that were done in the last release are gone! Is there a way to recover those calculations!? Help!
Does everything you would possibly ask for in a structural beam software. I would love to see you guys come out with other structural apps like cables, section modulus, and truss diagrams.... Love the app. Great work.
This app is great for engineering students taking statics, solids or structures. In my opinion it does what is needed, it takes a little while to figure out the controls but its an extremely helpful app.
This app does exactly what its supposed to do, and does so in a very elegant and clear fashion. I have used this app extensively for my Adv. Structural Analisys Course to check all my results while studying, and so far i havent found a single error in the results. Unlike most engineering apps for the iphone or ipad the interface for A-Beam is very intuitive, easy to use and looks great. My only request would be an ipad specific version that takes advantage of the extra screen. The results are calculated very fast, regardless of the degree of indeterminacy or the number of spans. The PDF report is great and could easily be used for project reports or other professional applications. Shear, Moment and Deflection are calculated and reported in graphs and in tables. All in all, i found this app to be the perfect solution for calculating all kinds of beams and reporting the results.
Very helpful in my strengths of materials class. But for some reason I cant seem to create a cantilever on the beam. Ever time I change the distance of one of the supports, it alters the length of the whole beam. Is there a way to create a cantilever without the whole length being altered?
